We added a new feature (April 08) - Be the first to write a Customer Review!
We are pleased to introduce the Dynasty Collection by Royal Patrician, items with an English look and feel but produced for us in Asia. All items in this collection are made of bone china.
Sourcing some of our product in Asia provides us an opportunity to present bone china in a different and more moderately priced manner. We consider the Dynasty Collection to be a valuable addition to the Royal Patrician product line.
Loving Thoughts and Spiritual Sayings cup/saucers are each presented in a beautiful satin-lined Royal Patrician gift box, ideal for gift giving.
Please note that all Asian-sourced Royal Patrician items will carry a green backstamp rather than the familiar blue backstamp which we use on our product imported from England, and will read:

These items are manufactured in China by FDA Certified factories.
Concerns regarding lead content in our porcelain and bone china products produced in China:
| The U.S. FDA has very strict standards regarding lead content and all of food service products must pass inspection before entering the country. All products that will be used in the service of foods or beverages must be consumable safe.
By law, all shipments coming to the United States must be tested for lead and cadmium on each and every export shipment. A certificate showing the shipment has passed inspection is needed before any shipment can be released. The FDA has had very strict guidelines concerning ceramic food service items since 1980. You can read about these guidelines at the following web sites: http://www.fda.gov/default.htm All of the products that have been in the news lately and have been recalled are mainly toy products and are not governed by the U.S. FDA because they are not intended for food use. Many of the products that are under scrutiny never had to answer to the U.S. FDA like those in the housewares industry yet no one seems to be explaining this to consumers. It seems that the media is fueling these fears instead of educating consumers. |
