Nice tamper, works great, gave great crema. While the base is solid, the center is thin acrylic. Using it everyday is not a good choice for this tamper. Looks great, it does't hold up. I have read other reviews with the same complaint, the center acrylic breaks and you can't rebuild the unit. Everyday use - Pass on it. Once a month, great deal. Reply by KoffeeKlatsch: Thank you for the feedback. Please check-out REG BARBER or MACAP Tamper. They are solid, however the price starts at $50 and goes up to $110.
